We have some exciting news to share with you! After working closely with the Diocese over the summer and into the fall, we received our Catholic Strong construction approvals just before Thanksgiving. Thanks to your overwhelming generosity, our Knights of Columbus’ resources and manpower, and a helping hand from the Hispanic community, we are in the position to move forward with the renovations of the St. Frances Cabrini bathrooms and Culliney Hall. The Knights will be providing paint for Culliney Hall in addition to their labor for the installation of new ceiling tiles, electrical repairs, and lighting.

Effective January 6th, 2020, we will close St. Frances Cabrini for two (2) months. We ask that you worship at either St. Augustine Church or Our Lady of Good Counsel during this period. We will move the 7 a.m. daily Communion service to St. Augustine Church.

On behalf of all of St. Damien Parish, I thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we take on this exciting project. May God bless each and every one of you!

– Fr. Michael P. Rush, Pastor of St. Damien Parish
