How to Spot a Scam Email
All emails sent by our pastor or parish staff will come from an email address that end with @stdamienparish.com or @stdamienocnj.com. You should assume all other emails purporting to come from the parish, but ending with a different domain (e.g. @gmail.com), are fraudulent. This is the easiest and most accurate way of spotting scam emails.
What To Do With a Scam Email
Simply report the email as spam. This will tell your email provider that the sender is fraudulent, reducing the chance that their scam emails will reach other users. Do not reply to the email or click any links.
