From the Pastor’s Desk (Oct. 17, 2021)

I am pleased to announce the following staff changes for St. Damien Parish:

Effective Wednesday, October 12, 2021

· Karen Malkiewicz returns from family leave to work on Thursdays and Fridays as the Office Administrative Assistant.

· Tina Boylan continues her work one day per week and will now be the St. Damien Wedding and Baptism Coordinator.  Tina will also do other administrative functions as directed by me.

Effective Monday, October 18, 2021

· Joanne Kelly will be the Pastoral Associate for Justice and Community Outreach.  Joanne is currently the Director of Religious Education at Our Lady of the Angels in Cape May Court House.

Effective Monday, November 1, 2021

· Mary Lou Hughes will  be the Pastoral Associate for Lifelong Faith Formation and the Director of Adult Faith Formation.  Mary Lou is currently the Director for Faith and Family Life Formation and the Director of Lay Ministry Formation for the Diocese of Camden.

As you may recall from our first meetings when I arrived at St. Damien in July of 2020, I indicated that I am committed to a staff-centric parish.  We are well on our way to achieving that goal.  All parish ministries will now be under the care and direction of either me or one of the four Pastoral Associates.
